Atriax Building Solutions, the general contracting arm of the Atriax Group, was established in 2001 and holds an unlimited license for general construction in North Carolina.

Since 2001, ABS has developed expertise in many different sectors ranging from full residential development to detailed preservation on historic buildings, from the design and build of government emergency services to repurposing strip mall facilities to enable new retail offerings and from renovating old commercial retail space to the creation of modern, state of the art office facilities.

With a team of consummate construction professionals, ably supported by an established network of local prequalified subcontractors and further bolstered by the in-house Atriax PLLC team of licensed architects and engineers Atriax Building Solutions is perfectly placed to respond all client needs.

Design/Build

Depending on owner preference, a project’s specific requirements, project complexity and local regulations, Design/Build may be the way to go. This delivery method offers a single point of responsibility, typically faster project delivery, generally a cost savings, and better communication and collaboration between the design team and the general contractor. A design-build firm assumes more of the project risk like cost overruns and design errors. Our design-build service focuses on smaller boutique projects and has included Wye Station Townhomes in Conover, NC; Rock Creek Bath House in the Cherokee National Forest; restaurant, hotel and bathroom facilities for the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation; and Atriax Group’s own corporate headquarters in Hickory, NC.
