Renovate for Ward 1B

This project included a complete interior demolition and renovation of an existing 35-bed nursing unit on the third floor of an historic campus building. Current private and semi-private rooms were transformed into an all-private 20 bed-unit for subacute, long-term care, skilled nursing, and hospice care. A functional program was developed to identify the goals and objectives around best practices, lean processes, workflow analysis, patient-centered care, technology upgrades, and modern environment of care with higher quality amenities.
